Seals at Robberg

Check out some of the footage of Cape fur Seals (Arctocephalus Pusillus Pusillus) taken from our initial observations of the seal colony at Robberg Peninsula off Plettenberg  Bay (South Africa).

Robberg translates from Dutch as “Seal Mountain.”

We intend to monitor all the seal colonies along the South African coastline as part of a study.  The results collected will help us develop a holistic conservation plan for these animals which will engage the local grassroots communities, too.
